Christmas Food Gifts - Grocery List





Christmas Food Gifts
 
Mexican Food Basket
Salsa:
3 - 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup white vinegar
salt and black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic salt
jalapeno peppers, to your tasting - I like to use red pepper and jalapeno peppers
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
Buy a big mixing bowl, Christmas hand towel, small candle, hot sauce, Mexican spice, and add a few fresh jalapenos, oh and your salsa
 
 
Italian Food Basket
Roasted Bell Pepper Spaghetti Sauce
2 - 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 1/2 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon basil
1/2 chopped onion
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (to give it a kick)
In the Italian basket, I bought a strainer, Italian dressing (for the salad), noodles, Christmas kitchen hand towel, a little candle, my homemade spaghetti sauce, and for this one a cute set of measuring spoons
 
Christmas Trail Mix
1 can mixed nuts
1 cup pretzels
1 cup raisins
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 package of crunch chocolate Christmas candy, taken out of the wrapper.

Robin's Millionaires
14 ounce caramels, unwrapped
2 cups pecans
1 cup walnuts
2 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon butter
5 blocks chocolate candy coating
3 blocks vanilla candy coating
 
Strawberry Bread
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 stick butter, melted
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup strawberries, mashed - I use frozen
 
Reindeer Cookies:
Peanut butter cookie dough - slice and bake
M & M's
Chocolate Chips
Pretzels

Of course I'll be giving my Robinism on giving. Come back and lets cook up some Christmas goodies to share with our family and friends.

Next week we'll be cooking up Christmas morning dishes, Christmas eve dishes, and some sweet to eat.
