Blue Cheese, Bacon Burger

I have to admit, I saw this on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and had to try it. Not for sure if I got it just like his, but WOW - so good.

1 1/2 pound ground beef
2 strips bacon, chopped into bite size piece
4 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 minced garlic clove
1 teaspoon salt and black pepper
4 buns
large mason jar lid

Heat skillet to medium heat; spraying your pan with Pam cooking spray.

In large mixing bowl, mix together beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper.

Lay wax paper down. Pour in 1 tablespoon chopped bacon and blue cheese in the lid.

Grab some hamburger mixture and add to the top of it; forming a burger, and remove lid.
Lay the bacon, blue cheese side down in your skillet. ONLY FLIP ONCE! You can tell when to flip it, when the sides of your beef start turning brown. I cooked mine for about 8 minutes on this side; to make sure the bacon was done.

Toast your bun - add your burger, and trust me, it will melt in your mouth.
