I have to say, I love my mother's recipe for chicken and dressing, but this is real close. If you have a large crowd or in a hurry; then this is your recipe.
Crock Pot Dressing
8-inch pan cooked cornbread (2 cups cornmeal)
4 eggs
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 can chicken broth
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 tablespoon sage
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Lightly spray your crock pot with Pam cooking spray.
Crumble cornbread into your crock pot; adding all the other ingredients.
Give it a quick stir, and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. Its that simple.
Be Sweet and Stay Sweet!
