Chinese Ground Beef Fried Rice

Very interested flavors in this recipe, that will have you going back for seconds.

Chinese Ground Beef Fried Rice
1 pound lean ground beef
Marinade: for beef - marinate for 15 minutes
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon Chinese rice wine

Other:
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 onion, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 cups cooked rice
1 cup shredded carrots
1 large egg
2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Marinate beef in ingredients above.

Cook your rice and prepare the rest of your vegetables.

After you meat has marinated, turn your skillet to high heat. You can use a wok if you have one. Add onion to your meat and brown. Add carrots.

Now add your spices, rice, and stir. The smell of the curry and ginger are amazing. Pull your mixture to one side of your skillet. In coffee cup or small bowl stir egg with fork; adding to the other side of your skillet and scramble. After the egg has scrambled; mix with the other.



I think I would add English peas next time. Very yummy yummy to the tummy.
