Pineapple Ham Pita

My favorite pizza is the Canadian bacon, pineapple and jalapeno pepper pizza. So, I came up with Robin's version in a sandwich, and it turned out scrumptious. It was a hit at the house.

It really tasted just like my favorite pizza. Come try this out.

Pineapple Ham Pita
leftover ham or deli slice ham
pita bread
1 small can of sliced pineapples
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped jalapenos
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 lemon

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Take your leftover root beer glazed ham, and cut into strips.

In small bowl mix Miracle Whip, jalapenos, 1 teaspoon of lemon zest, and the juice of 1/2 of the lemon; stir together.

Place ham, 1/2 pineapple slice, tablespoon of Miracle whip mixture and sprinkle mozzeralla cheese.

Bake in oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese melts. This is just a little slice of my favorite pizza; ooey gooey goodness in my mouth. Just the right amount of kick from the peppers, and the sweetness from the rootbeer glazed ham and pineapple. YUMMY!! You've got to try this one.
